Defender Bringing Video Security to the Masses

NIAGARA FALLS - Defender is set to launch a Digital Video Recording system (DVR)
made for the everyday consumer, the SENTINEL2. The complete system has been designed
to incorporate advanced features such as motion detection and night vision - all for
under $500. The system includes an ultra compact DVR, 4 indoor/outdoor hi-res
cameras along with all the wiring and mounting hardware needed for the easy system
set-up.

"Those who wanted a video security solution but couldn't afford it, now have a
quality option. We offer a high quality solution that anyone can afford," said Raj
Jain, SVAT President. "Defender has refined complex technology to provide a security
solution that is simple and extremely effective."

Defender's newest addition is true to its roots as a do-it-yourself (DIY) security
solution for home owners and small businesses. It provides up to 154 days of
continuous video footage on its 160GB Seagate SV35.2 hard drive. The motion
detection feature ensures that only important footage is captured and extends the
maximum recording time and will only record when movement is detected.

The SENTINEL2 utilizes the Seagate SV35.2 SeriesT hard drive, which is designed to
optimize performance, save power and improve reliability in 24x7 digital video
surveillance systems. Now surveillance system manufacturers and systems integrators
don't have to settle for hard drives designed primarily for other applications.

The 4 hi-resolution CCD color cameras provide clear picture imaging at 420 TV lines
of resolution allowing for facial recognition. Even in the dark, the cameras can see
up to 15ft away. 12 Infrared night vision LEDs are equipped and activate
automatically when it gets dark out, which also saves you on energy costs. Users
will also be able to transfer video footage easily. The DVR has a USB backup that
makes transferring to a PC or laptop easy using any USB flash memory device.

The SENTINEL2 will be available early September 2008 through Amazon.com,
SamsClub.com, Shoptronics.com and other online merchants and various national
retailers.
